Similar variations occur in both genres (if ppl want to be super technical i guess i'm arguing that isekai itself is a massive genre that has the "another world" subgenre and "reincarnation" subgenre tl dr) so i think it's honestly a huge pain to try to separate all these trends into so many different types of stories.
